With a driver's license in your pocket, a whole new world opens up for you. You are free and can go wherever you want. I am very happy about that. Freedom is important to me. Just like making my own choices and having a clear goal. But young Shadi did not have a clear goal. And life does not have a navigation system to show you the way. So I had to search for a while.

Turn right for ambitions

Where is my passion? What is my dream? Good question Shadi, and I really didn't know the answer. That's why I chose the study direction of commerce and administration. During that study I was taught bookkeeping, among other things. Interesting and - certainly with my own company - very useful, but I wasn't going to bounce from all those figures. I missed the challenge.

On to gear three, a full-time job in the hospitality industry. Nice and especially fun, but all those changing shifts don't suit me. And so I took the exit to the Commercial Management study program. The business plan that I had to write was my 'AHA' moment. All the ideas for my own company came naturally. I took the step. And when I go for something, I go for it 100%. On to the next gear!

Your destination is 100 meters away

With a clear goal also came my enormous drive to succeed. First by obtaining my certification as a driving instructor. I did that at the IBKI, the recognized organization for theory and practical exams for the mobility sector. Then by setting up my own company - Rijschool Easy - and then also by recruiting customers. I still remember, the first student who passed his driving test, what a fantastic feeling that was! I really enjoy teaching someone something. With my own driving school I am touring in sixth gear.

As a driving instructor I have a responsible and varied job with a lot of social contacts. I also have a lot of freedom to plan my day. I give driving lessons from morning to evening and also on Saturdays or Sundays. I think hard work is fantastic. I have now made more than 1000 laps around the Emmaplein.

You have reached your destination

Everything starts with a message. A WhatsApp is fine, but an email is also allowed. You get direct personal contact. No intermediary or administration department. You drive in a nice, new car. You drive your first kilometers in a quiet place, for example an industrial estate. Later you learn to drive with confidence in the area of the CBR, where there are many one-way streets. A challenge is the Kennedy Bridge. The speed limit is 50, but everyone drives too fast there. And while we are making kilometers together, I am curious about your story. GETTING A DRIVING LICENSE

If you want to start driving lessons, we recommend that you first take a trial lesson. During this lesson, you will have the opportunity to get to know our instructor and our teaching material. Based on your results and the experience of our instructor, an estimate will be made of the number of driving lessons you need to get your driver's license. It is important to remember that this estimate is only an indication. It is possible that you will develop faster or slower than expected.

REFRESH

You now have your driver's license, but you don't like getting into the car. This may be due to driving anxiety or a certain insecurity that has developed. We are happy to refresh your knowledge and teach you the right techniques.
